Advertising yourself?

Seeking parental opinions on this. I'm registered with agencies of course but am also advertising myself so desperate am I now to move on. I have my ad which states what I feel parents need to know about me but I also include what I expect in terms of pay etc and preferences as to ages as my skills are best used with older children. All of what I ask is either law or the going rate (I'm a London nanny) so I do not feel it's unreasonable and am trying to avoid those delightful enquiries from those who want 80 hours a week, on call weekends, five nights included babysitting for fifty pounds a week.
Last time if I remember I received several abusive emails from people about being upfront about my requirements. Is it unreasonable for a nanny to state up front what they want? Surely a position that works for both parties has the best chance of success. The prospective employer can always not respond to the ad if they don't like it.

Hello Tavvy mine is quite basic and people can then contact me for further information yes you will get the silly responses but short ad saying your qualifications and experience and what you are looking for ie: full time nanny job live out mon-fri and put if you are available for babysitting also etc.

If you are in London there are plenty of jobs and agencies should be able to find you the right work for you really.
