Not sure that what i've been doing is strictly legitimate so need to get sorted.

I'm an ofsted registered cm working from home, 4 days a week but also do babysitting in local hotels etc, sometimes through an agency sometimes private.

But I also go beyond babysitting and do sleepovers at the childrens house, occasionally for the whole weekend.

I invoice for this and its all above board I add it to my childminding earnings.

If wanted I use the ncma babysitting checklist so I am covered by insurance for the babysitting but not for the overnights.

The overnights are for 2 children age 5 and 13 who I have childminded for in my home so have all the relevant permission forms etc in place.

What else should I do, am I ok to do this as one business or should I split it?

Just beginning to wonder as more work is coming my way next year.

i think you should be fine to do it as 1 business as long as you declare all your earnings you are doing nothing wrong. also the children you babysit at there own home you also childmind so they are you minded children so you should be able to add any extra hours to there normal invoice. and the babysitting check list covers you at there housse to babysit i dont think it would have a time limit on it so really should cover you till morning if you stay i would maybe just check it but i doubt it would have anything that says it only covers you between the hours of 6 and 12 am or something as what if something unexpected happened and the parents were late and came back slightly late and ur insurance cover had run over time.
