I know I posted about nanny problems when she first started, overall things have improved massively. The arrangement is working well and has made going back to work easier. So I don't know if I'm over reacting to this. Nanny was complaining today about period pain and how she was taking Nurofen all day, I made lots of sympathetic noises. After she's gone home I was in the kitchen with DD when I spotted DD playing with something small and white and about to put it in her mouth, it was a Nurofen tablet which had fallen on the floor. I'm angry that DD could have put it in her mouth, surely when you are taking tablets around small children you should be careful about how many you take out of the packet and either take them or dispose of them safely if they fall on the floor. I know I'm a bit paranoid about it, and if I'd drop one would be on my hands and knees looking for it. Looking where the tablet had landed it shouldn't have been too hard for her to spot.
Would I be being unreasonable to ask her to take all tablets in the bathroom (as DD doesn't really play in there) or over the sink, or can I just give her a bit of a rollocking as I will never be able to check where she takes her tablets. Or am I being unreasonable?
DD is 11 months so putting lots of things in her mouth, most of which don't bother me
