Friend wants to share nanny (sort of) - what do I need to bare in mind

After the first week difficulties, everything is going really well with the nanny now. However, I've now got a new quandry.

A friend of mine has a DD who is about 7 weeks older than mine. She got made redundant while on mat leave. She's now job hunting and doing interviews. She's got her DD in nursery 2 mornings a week, but can't get any more sessions. She's asked if she could share our nanny for a day/ half day when needed for interviews. The first thing I'm going to do is talk it through with the nanny to see how she feels about it, but what do I need to think about?

We have a travel cot we can use for naps, and a booster seat for meal times. The biggest issue I can see is that we don't have a double buggy so they would be confined to the house. That seems fine for half a day, but might a bit much for a day. It would be nice for DD to have the company, but I think there must be some other issues I've not thought of.

My friend is offering to pay the nanny/ me, I think the money should probably go to the nanny, but not sure how much, I was thinking £5 per hour???

Is this just on the odd occasion, or could it become more permanent?
If it's just the odd occasion, may be possible to do payment in cash... shouldn't really but registering as an employer for just a few occasions a year is a bit of a faff.
If it's more permanent, then your friend will need to register as an employer. Then you each have a contract with the nanny, plus you have a contract between yourselves as well, to cover things such as if one of you wants to leave the share, who is paying for what, whose home is being used, who is providing equipment - such as the double buggy - costs of food and outings, how much holiday there is per year, when that holiday can be taken / notice required to take holiday.
I don't do nanny shares, so am only guessing as to some of the things that need to be covered... with luck someone in a nannyshare will spot this and be able to add to the list.
