This sounds exactly like our old childminders's garden. It wouldn't put me off at all.

I think people molly coddle their kids too much these days. Falling down so lonas injuries are minor is good for kids because it teaches them how to get up again.

No harm in letting a 2 year old jump around on a tramploine even if it is made for 6 year old so long as someone is there to make sure the child doesn't fall off or get kicked in teeth by another child wearing steel toe boots.

yeah thats what i think too, as long as they are watched its fine

If I was a CM I'd be put off by prospective parents who came to my house and asked lots of anxious OTT H&S questions. There is no way I'd want to look after children who'd been brought up in that kind of attitude- too much fuss every time they fall over/bump their head and parents who are more likely to make a big deal out of everything. Not worth the risk, from the CM point of view, I'd say.

merle i'd be the cm

No sounds like a nice child friendly house to me. I am sure CM would have safety procedure. Better trampolines than sterile clean tidy house now that I would worry about!!

Sounds great.

Don't CMs take their mindees to the park and playground. Bet there are lots of equipment there for children of different ages. Would that also be of concern?

What is wrong with a wooden playhouse?

Bear in mind that many children grow up with older siblings with gardens full of swings, slides, equipment etc for older children. I don't think there is much cause for concern if the children are watched (and many younger siblings are not watched in their own home gardens).

nothing wrong with a wooden playhouse, just listing what's in the garden
