Hi

I am looking for a nursery in the Teddington/Kingston/Twickenham/Hampton area for my 8 month old daughter. Any recommendations would be welcome.

Has anybody used or heard any feedback on the LANGHAM NURSERY? (behind the Tile Centre in Teddington)

Cheers
A

not much help but i'd steer clear from teddies in twic my nieces go there and my sister hasn't been too impressed.

There are two Teddies Nurseries in Twickenham.

The one on March Road (by the station) is MUCH better.

My Children have both attended and been in all three rooms and I have had no real complaints.

What I will say is that all Nurseries depend very much on the quality and stability of the staff group. My children have not been there for some time, so not sure of the current staffing.

Both of my children were always very happy to go (part time) and were sad to leave.

it's the one by the station.
my niece has been bitten 3 times and they don't seem to be doing an awful lot

I went in to the Langham nursery and although it is self quoted as being the best in Teddington I felt it was dirty, the spaces availble is limited and the most of the staff that would be caring for my daughter had only been in the nursery for about a year. Also I just didnt feel right in there...I didnt walk out feeling wow I want my daughter there.

I love the building blocks nursery on fulwell road...lovely carers, great menu and very clean and organised.

I hope this helps.

asquith court nursery in teddington is really nice, the staff do a lot to build good relationships and they have large separate gardens for ages so that the bigger children can t hurt the younger children. they kept good records and are friendly . i used to work for them before becoming a nanny and children i nannied attended there part time . also tick tock in twickenham is really nice too and child friendly

Hi

Really need help with nursery recommendations for my six month old daughter in Twickenham, Teddington or St Margarets - tried one in Twickenham and was unimpressed - dirty and unstimulating.

Alternatively a nanny - would happily consider a share arrangement.

Thanks!

DD is at Bright Beginnings in Twick and I would recommend (you weren't talking about there were you??). The staff are lovely and I doubt you'd have any concerns about cleanliness or stimulating activities. Have had the odd gripe in our time there but they have largely been addressed - and I doubt I'd be 100% satisfied anywhere! PM me if you'd like more info.

Sorry if you get this twice but MN crashed mid-post... Brook House on Cole Park Rd (near Ivybridge retail park towards Isleworth) is supposed to be good too but NB not open Fridays. They also close for Easter hols I think (as well as Christmas).

Met a nice CM by St Margarets station a few months ago. Can give you more info by PM although don't know whether she still has space.

Hiya Teddy77 and chaenic

Good luck with the nurseries. Im sorry I dont know much about the local ones. However, I am a local childminder and I wondered if you had considered childminders or specifically preferred nurseries.

The great thing is, depending on the childminder you find; the children can get the interaction with other children as well as one-2-one attention.

If you would be interested in chatting further feel free to contact me.
Good luck in your search for childcare.
