No Babysitting At All This Week - Please tell me I'm not the only one.

I am doing no babysitting at all this week.
Is it just the time of year do you think, or is this a trend that I'm going to see for a while?
Am I the only one finding that there is little babysitting work around?

I've dropped my price... not sure it will make a difference though - can but try.

Update: I met a family today who have a 4 year old and Twins due in a couple of months. Shy 4 year old was happily chatting away with me after 5-10 mins. So meeting went well. With luck the parents will book an evening or two before the twins arrive.

Have two evenings of babysitting booked for this week, so things are looking brighter. Maybe the price drop has helped.

i have generally found sept to be quiet with people having been on hols and are getting children back to school etc

then all picks up in oct with the run up to xmas with "work dos" etc.

the website moneysavingexpert has a section on the discounts and codes thread on the forum where you can offer discounts for MSE users lots of different types of business' post on this thread just a thought - you could offer a 10% discount on rates to MSE users within a certain radius of where you live - would promote your website a bit more too.
