CM Club - Looneytune could do with non-public advice/support, if you're a regular and fancy helping........

Hi everyone

I really do need advice on how to handle all this stuff but I don't want to do it in public as I just don't know who I can trust any more.

If you're a regular I chat to on here and would like to help me out, if you've not already emailed me, can you email: [email protected] Those of you who use my other address, still do that as I don't actually use this one, just for things like this

If you email me and I don't add you, please don't take it personally. I'm just not great at keeping up with all names and if I'm unsure who you are, I'd rather not add you as I'm not sure who I can trust so just being careful

The idea is that I put you all on a bulk email, explain what's happened and ask questions etc. to you all at once. This will be better than chatting to you all individually. Hope that's ok.

hi looney i wont email u as i dont know how 2 yet im a cm and im thinking off u y cant all cm work togeter its hard on your own i work on ,my own but there r 5 off us nclose contact and we help fill each others places there r some horrible mindless people out there and there is no need 4 it i hope it gets sorted and u find out whos doing it surley if ofsted knows its the same person there will click that its not true any my mum says what goes around comes around so hope they get whats comming 2 em ba...eds....

I suspect it may be jealousy from another CM, especially if locally there is a lack of work and you are keeping yourself as busy as possible.

moomillion - unfortunately the complaint was generalisations so it could be ANYONE!

nannynick - thanks, I got your email in the end and I've added you to the big email. I did wonder that but I'm sure parents are finding it hard to find childcare in my immediate area? But then again, I think childminders in the area where I pick up from school might be struggling more? Saz, is this still the case?

Just to let you all know, I'm out for most of the day today (picking ds1 up as he's spent nearly a week with my parents!!). Missed him like crazy but actually really pleased he wasn't here to see what a state I got in as he'd be really worried. I'll check all emails later on this evening

Hi I am a childminder in Manchester and been through Ofsteds complaints procedure although I knew it was a past parent. It was investigated and no action taken so its not on my records. I don't post very often so I won't email you (unless you want me to) just sending my support x

hi, i havent e-maild as i'm not sure i could help in any way, but i just wanted to say, that i'm thinking of you, and i hope this is all sorted asap, i dont 'know' you but from your post i know that what ever you've been accused of you didnt do. i know that eventually ofsted will see this too. stay strong, you have so many people behind you, it will get sorted eventually.

I'm not a regular poster on here so I won't e-mail you - I'm not sure I'd be a lot of help! I'm sure Ofsted will realise this is a malicious complaint and hopefully everything will be back to normal (or as much as it can be after something like this happens) very soon.

Thanks everyone and many apologies for not getting round to replying to you all yet. I didn't expect soooooo many emails back, and so long too. This is all great stuff but just means it's going to take a bit of time to reply to you all. I'll try my best tonight once I've finished work. I really am very sorry, just been so busy with the school hols (as most others probably have too) plus been worn out in the evening (still not caught up after all the lack of sleep!).
