Childminder contracts

How long do they last for? We will need a certain level of care for say around 3-4mths then would more than likely need to reduce the hours a bit.

Would a childminder be likely to consider this?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Almost certainly

You could do a short fixed term contract or an open ended one & write a letter giving 4 weeks notice of the drop in hours

Thanks, I'm just hoping she won't tell us to sling our hook in favour of a full-timer though.

It depends

If it is an area short of childminders she might

If it's a quieter area she might jump at you

Have you considered a PG childminder, that might suit them better

I've actually found one who looks pretty promising, you think I could persuade her it's a good idea to get up the duff?
