Am now starting my first full year as a cm, and unless i want a big tax bill at the end of the year, want to accrue monthly for tax, can anybody give me an idea of how much i can expect to pay? I know it differed dramatically on charges but i mean percentage wise?

Have never paid tax in 4years. The tax allowance is quite high for this year anyway, work out how much you will earn above that then put about 22 percent away - that's what I would do anyway. Personally, won't even be anywhere near the personal allowance

Me neither

The tax allowance is £6475 a year so each week that is £124 & monthly £539

So as up&ow says if you earn above that (after expenses) put 22% plus some for NI away (I can't remember the NI amount but it's about 10%)

I have only every paid tax once in 6 yrs - about £800
