I think I did it a few years ago.

I've done a few of their courses and have enjoyed them.

nannynick · 28/04/2009 21:47

Haven't done it... But I am wondering if such courses actually have helped anyone get a job?

Supernanny19 · 28/04/2009 21:52

Yeah same nanny nick i mean it costs 165pounds so if it doesnt help bit of a waste really?

Well they have helped me as I didn't do any formal nanny training but if you are a qualified nanny maybe it wouldn't be worth it.

I've done it.
I think they could incorporate far more into it than they actually do. I mostly did it for a 'piece of paper' exercise. It has helped me get work before from the point of view that given I do not have extensive experience with baby twins and parents are reassured by the piece of paper.

Rather than posting on every single thread about MNT how about giving some constructive feedback, gloria0?

A lot of people seem to have had positive experiences with them.

Plus I'd be interested to know which councils run specialised maternity/baby courses for free!

nbee84 · 23/09/2010 14:52

As a nanny, my council does not offer me any free courses. I know they used to for CM's (haven't been cm'ing for 5 years now)
