[quakes]

I've put together a big bag with a good supply of nappies, wipes and nappy bags, and a full change of clothes. Should I put in some bibs and his cup or will she do this stuff?

I know it doesn't really matter but I'm a wreck!

I'd put the cup and bibs in just incase and also put a couple of sets of clothes in.

If teething maybe some bonjella? If prone to nappy rash maybe some nappy cream?

favourite toy or blanket?

We're lucky to avoid nappy rash. And it's extremely rare that when teething he's not so distracted in the daytime that he forgets about it, so I imagine just being somewhere new will be adequate analgesia! Reckon I'll pack it anyway.

He doesn't have any favourite stuff other than my boobs

Ooh suncream. And waterproofs.

Will I leave all this stuff with her do you think? He'll only be there either 1 or 2 days a week, depending on the week.

Hi
Whilst your CM may have cups for LOs they may be different to the cups your LO is used to so I would pop on in the bag to be on the safe side.

Dont forget her favourite comforter (teddy, blanket or whatever it may be)

Thanks everyone.

He's nearly 2 so a big boy but he's usually with his Dad while I am at work. My control freak tendencies are going overdrive right now!

A small photo of yourself - something sized such that he can have it in a pocket (start off with it in the bag). Then if he gets upset during the day, he may like to look at you and say 'mummy back at 5' or whatever. Never know it could help if he gets anxious about your return.

Numberfour · 15/04/2009 21:15

i hope all goes well tomorrow! sometimes it is harder for mum / dad than the child.

good luck.

kkey21 · 15/04/2009 21:29

A little list of things he likes/doesn't like as in activities/foods? Nap times?

RachieB · 16/04/2009 17:27

Hope it went ok?

hi, fairmidden - wondering, too, how things went today?

FairMidden · 16/04/2009 20:12

Thanks for asking - that's sweet of you guys

It was fine actually - he didn't even want to say goodbye when i dropped him off, and he slept for her (in the pushchair) and he was having great fun when his dad collected him.

I feel much, much better actually

Thank you all for you advice yesterday.
