A Bonfire?

Sorry, I can't help but watching with interest. I've just got on top of mine but worried about it slipping again plus want to do Early Years Practice Level 4 in October (is this what you're doing?).

Numberfour · 17/03/2009 11:17

no, i am doing the Early Years Professional Status thingy.

i know i should do a little every day, but i have let it slide again

DH NOT very understanding, DS just a normal demanding DS and i feel as if i am always working

Oh yeah, remember now, couldn't remember what it stood for! What's the difference between mind (I know it's an NVQ3) and EYPS? Wondering what's the best to go for?

I know what you mean about not very understanding dh etc, same here and found really hard starting back when ds2 was just 10 wks old, the day EYFS started - all he does is moan about me wanting time to do some paperwork! MEN!

Good luck with it all and hope you get it under control, sure someone will be along soon to give advice x

I can emphathise... I too work very long CM hours and am studying, have a home to run etc. TBH I don't think there's any set solution to becoming better organised. I have weeks when I am on the ball and all paperwork is done and dusted and up to date, then I'll have a couple of weeks when I let things slide (am busy with life!) and need to play catch up. You can only do what you can do... no use beating yourself up about it

If you did all the paperwork possible, you would never stop writing, or filing. Prioritise??? Take your best guess at what Ofsted will need, while keeping what you know you need for the children.

I think most people do EYPS post grad? Is that right? There is a long and short pathway, or something like that. Haven't looked too closely at it yet.

looneytune · 17/03/2009 12:25

I think i'll stick with what you mentioned then HSMM. How are you feeling now? Hope you've stopped being sick!

thanks, everyone. yes, jennipenni, i am a bit like that too. been quite good at it for a while and then it went bottoms up.

HSMM, EYP is postgrad, though the actual short pathway is level3. i am doing the 6 month short pathway. just about finished classes and then a few weeks off before the actual assessment process starts

probably not helping my frame of mind that i am PMT at the moment.
