Well done Katy, it sounds like it went well.

Good luck on hearing about the job Shoshe.

Can anyone answer me a question - if you are doing 2 hours a week 'as a favour' for someone, do you need a contract? I know I should know the answer but can't remember if I need to do not! I'm sure I probably do but didn't want to 'waste' a contract when I'm helping a friend out (don't let ofsted hear me say that!)

There was something else I needed to ask as well but can't remember that for now so will have to pop back later!

I've remembered...

If an afterschoolie (yr 6) needs to walk back (with parents say so) to mine after a club which I can't pick up from, am I allowed to let this happen if I have a permission letter from parent?

as long as parents have signed to say thats what they want to happen then yes I am sure you are covered from ofsted POV - but check with your insurer whether you would be insured - if not you need to put as much in the permission letter.

It can't be announced because it has to have 3 weeks quality assurance.....but I am certainly not unhappy
