hi today one of my mindees went round a friends house for lunch and a play, does anyone know if this friend is allowed over mine?

do i need to tell Ofsted, or get friends parent to sign saying she gives permission for her daughter to be in my care?

thanks.

If you're not childminding them and you make sure you record that they have been there, then I don't see a problem. That is what I do when my DD has a friend to play. Just make sure the friend's parent knows they are not being minded, insured, etc.

As long as you are within ratios

katy is right - they have to be taken account of in your ratios.....poor DS1 doesn't get to have anyone round for tea as I am full up after school in his age range! Poor soul.

Same as nomoreamover, ds1 misses out a lot now due to ratios But then again, he has a busy house most of the time and enjoys all the kiddies coming and going so can't have it all.

Ah! I was forgetting, my DD is at school and I always have a space free after school. Since she was little I have always kept a 'friend' space.
