I am trying to buy some baby stuff for our toddler group (have just recieved a grant!!)

I have found this and am hoping to provide a safe comfortable area for the non mobile babies.

can anyone suggest other suppliers? or has anyone other recommendations for things we need.

Depends on how much you have... some of the equipment for SoftPlay centres could be used.
Bonkers Play Ltd - Supplier of Softplay Equipment

However, you may be better off buying lots of smaller things. Made from Wood rather than plastic ideally, as they look nicer, feel nicer and tend to last longer.
PLAN TOYS based in Thailand do a lot of nice wooden toys. Various suppliers online.
Bouncy Happy People have a selection, as do Wooden Toy Store

Baby Playmats/Gym

Inflatable Baby Ring - a couple of these. I tend to find that the hanging toys bit isn't used.

If your hall is big, then Ride-On toys are popular for the toddlers.

Don't forget about Toy Storage... Clear Plastic Crates with Lids can be useful.

Soft Play Mat

Portable Soft Play

Baby Walkers - the fire engine one looks fun

Dino Sitter - to help babies who are not quite able to sit

thank you nannynick - have been going through those links..

they look great.

we have specifically been given funding to help attract younger non mobile babies - we have lots of toddlers at the mo Hence the need to provide an area that feels safe for the parents.

I love that portable soft play - trying to work out if I could adapt it.

I would think about low-level storage to cordon off your baby area

Then use heap washable mats (from Ikea) or blankets (secured under the storage to stop them slipping or use that non-kid mat stuff)

You can pad the back of the storage with cushions to stop babies heads being bumped

this set up is flexible can can change size/shape as the number of babies increases/decreases

Well in that case the Baby Nests/Activity Rings, things to help with sitting (such as the soft dino thing), playmats, plus larger softplay items should be great.
