Help me I am brain dead - what are the advantages of group childminding

So far I have 3 points (very badly written)

Group Childminding Settings

When 2 or more childminders work together in one household, this is referred to as a group childminding setting. There are some advantages of this type of childminding
? You aren?t dependent upon one person for the care (so hospital appointments, annul leave and illness are less likely to result in no childcare being provided)
? As 2 or more adults are working together their strengths and weaknesses can be shared so that your child benefits from several peoples experience and training.
? Working with other adults can offer emotional stability and support for the individual childminders

Can anyone help me?

As someone with a mate who uses a group childminder provision, she's say the big advantages are the continuous cover (not having to work around an inidividual's holidays. illnesses, child illness, and a sense of security than more than one responsible adult is in the setting at any one time - ensuring that any abuse/inappropriate behaviour is picked up quickly (sadly, a concern for many parents of childminder provision)
Also that children have a choice of different types of adult support within a small setting - eg one person might be the cuddly grandmother type, one would be the fun big sister etc

I guess I'd position it as the best of both worlds - ie security of a nursery, with the personal extended family feel of a childminder

activities can flow ie i can start a painting activity while dh clears up the playroom.

if a child is ill (sick etc) one of us stays with the child till parent arrives while the other continues looking after other children away from the ill child.

two or more pairs of eyes other than the ones in the back of my head lol

dh does the school run with the older ones while i stay home with the younger ones

i take the bigger ones to something they would like ie messy play while dh take the babies/younger ones to pram group

in my case my youngest whos 3 can usually have time with one or other parent at some point in the day, unlike when i was cming on my own when she would always have to share me.

i dont have to do all the nappies we can share them lol

i cant think of any more but i will pass them on if i do.
