I charge an hourly rate and parents supply the food for their child, I do reheat hot food if brought.

I'm a childminder. My rate are all inclusive, with the exception of nappies.

littlestarschildminding · 06/11/2008 18:56

My rates are all inclusive too

TheOtherMaryPoppinsFleckles · 06/11/2008 19:16

I charged extra for meals, but now I don't offer them, the children bring a pack up.

Probably 50/50 with the CM that I know with charging all in or charging extra.

Shoshe · 06/11/2008 19:25

I charge hourly rate that is inclusive of everything bar nappies.

NumberFour · 06/11/2008 19:44

I charge an hourly rate inclusive of everything except nappies and wipes but my younger mindees provide some or all of their food. I don't provide food for under ones.
But I do not charge extra once they do start having my food.

looneytune · 06/11/2008 19:51

Same as Shoshe. I used to charge £1.50 for an evening meal but don't now as it's less for the tax man!

geraldinetheluckygoat · 06/11/2008 20:22

I pay my childminder an hourly rate - I provide my sons packed lunch and she provides dinner - she doesnt charge extra for his dinner.

ayla99 · 07/11/2008 14:52

Snacks and drinks are included in my fees, but I charge £1.50 for breakfast or lunch and £2 for meals. Which means my daily rate is cheaper that it would be if I included all meals iyswim.

monkeymonkeymonkey · 07/11/2008 14:55

I only use a CM for school holiday/ out of school care. We supply a packed lunch.

cmx2 · 08/11/2008 19:16

i charge my hourly rate then extra for meals
