How much do you pay your AP?

We pay our AP this:

Mobile phone contract £15 per month
Travelcard £90 per month
Weekly pocket money £65
Language course £900 for the year

She comes to do the supermarket shop or lets me know what she wants in the way of toiletries, food etc and there is no limit on that.

She works 20 hours a week over three set days and has the other four days entirely free. Her work is all childminding, no housework or cleaning.

What do you think? Am I being a bit mean? I remember PPH saying she always bunged her AP £100 a week

We also live in London and have AP+. 35 hours a week, which is 3 hours housework in the morning, plus 4 hours helping with kids from 3-7pm. We pay her £130. I gave her a mobile with £50 credit on it when she arrived - solely for her to keep in touch with me and me with her. She has nice room, laptop with wireless conn. DVD TV and stereo. She pays for language school and rarely goes out ANYWHERE!
Gumtree is a good place to see what people are paying, for how many hours and what the perks of the job are.

Indeed Ingles I am, but only if they play 'Echo Beach'. My next debate with myself is whether to get last train home or book cheapo room up there...

We pay ours £80 a week. She gets a beautiful room, her own car, mobile and unlimited access to Skype and internet. She has a far better social life than me!! However, she does all the housework and drops off and picks up the kids plus makes their supper. I adore her and likewise.

I pay £80 for a 25-hour week, no extras. I do leave £20 for 'expenses'.
