Hi all, I have had some new mindees start, afternoons, and it's been a while since I had several young mindees here at tea time.
I now have:
DS - 3yrs
mindee - 3yrs
mindee - 6months
mindee - 8 yrs
(Mornings I have two x 1yr old mindees.)
DP works shifts so is either at work or in bed over tea time, and I found it hard to re-adjust today!
For example:
I sit to give baby bottle, and immediately get asked 'can I have a drink' (and then everyone wants a drink).
or
I am trying to plate teas up and baby wants to be held / is hungry etc.
I know this is par for the course but if anyone has any helpful tips or suggestions that would be great.
I have just invested in a slow cooker so plan to use this 2-3 times a week so can prep in advance.
At one point I had 8 mindees here for tea,and managed, think I was just anxious today as baby is settling in and didn't want her upset.
