does anyone know how much I'd need to pay a maternity nurse to cover nights on the arrival of my lo?

post natal doulas often do overnights, i know there are a number of doulas in manchester.. try www.doula.org.uk and www.nurturingbirth.co.uk for finding someone local

When is baby due?

Hi, I am a maternity nurse so fire away with any questions you may have.
Per 24hrs is norm £150
Agency fee varies
Weekly agency fee can range £75 - £150

If you can find someone without going through agency it can save you a bit.

24Hr is standard on call.

I wouldnt recommend using expressed milk for more than one feed through the night as a general rule.

As i said if you have any further questions, dont hesitate
