New Year’s Eve babysitting rate?

Hi all,
after a bit of advice please!
I’ve been asked to babysit two children (aged 4 years old and 9 months old) on NYE - pretty much all day and night (from about 12midday to early hours, approx 1/2am). My question is, how much would you charge or expect to pay?

My usual rate is £10/12ph. I’m experienced etc, having worked with kids for 12 years now in nurseries/currently in a school.. so I’m not an inexperienced teenager or anything like that!

I just don’t know what to charge. Everything I’ve read online suggests at least double pay… I don’t want to take the mock but equally will be giving up my NYE so don’t want to underpay myself either.

what would you all do/expect?

thank you in advance!

For that long on NYE it would be £15 noon till 5pm. At least time and a half there after

£25 per hour minimum.

Depends on the area as well?

Round my bit of London/Home Counties it's £25+ an hour - however normal hourly is about £18/20. However lots of parents balk at this and expect normal prices, so make sure you clarify how much you're charging before you agree!
