May I ask how much everyone has left in their household after childcare all bills are paid? Not including food shop?

Is it worth going back to work full time? Partner is on 28k I am on 31k nursery fees are like £1200 and we will probably have just under a grand left together after everything paid for

Are you about to go back to work? I think £1000 is very good but you need to see it as a temporary situation. Once you get more funded hours when they turn 3 it gets cheaper and then even more so once school starts.

Do you have the option to reduce to part time? I think this is the best of both worlds.

Not including food. About £600. Including food £150 ish

My nursery bill - £900 a month for two children. 1 child 4 days no funded hours. 1 child three days 30 hours funding.

1 child now at school so bill for wrap around £180 a month.

1 child still at nursery 4 days. Bill now £790

I work four days £28k

Husand works 5 days £34k
