How much would you be looking at paying for a nanny from 7.45-6 4 days a week around 50 hours a week? TIA

depends on area,age,experience etc

as imananny said, it does all depend on where you are living, if you want live in or live out, the age and experience of the nanny you want and obvioulsy what you can afford.
In London for a young, inexperienced and possibly non english nanny you are looking at for a 50 hour week.. about £350-400net per week. For an expereinced, older, qualified nanny you should expect to pay £10net per hour so at least £450-550net per week. I am employed 40 hours per week and an on £500net per week but I look after two babies and am highly expereinced and qualified and this is very good pay.
But as I said this is different as to where you live.. I think the avge full time wage for a high exp nanny for a place like bristol is around £350-400npw.
A good place to look is on the nannytax website as it have yearly avges for nanny rates across the uk.
hope this helps.

If you are not in London, then I would say that the cost to employer is £10-£12 per hour, once you have added employers NI on top of gross salary. In London, cost can increase by several pounds per hour.
Some nannies may work for £7 to £8 gross per hour, whereas others won't accept under £12. It really depends on the nanny.
