We have two DS (1 and 4) and we employ a nanny 40 hours a week. I work 4 days a week (long hours) and DH’s work is unpredictable with travel.
When we only had 1x DS, he was at nursery. Now that we have 2, having a nanny makes more sense. DH earns over £100k.
My work is looking into childcare schemes but it seems to me that these only apply to nurseries. Does anyone know of schemes that also apply to Ofsted registered nannies? I know that Nannypaye and nannytax are campaigning for the government to include nannies in the free 15 / 30 hours (which would make sense to mirror the previous childcare vouchers which were available for use with nannies).
