Hey all. FTM.

what age do you get free funding for nurseries and how many hours are you entitled to?

From April working parents of 2 year olds will get 15 hours (it's 30 for 3 year olds). This extends to 9month olds from sept and they gradually increase both up to 30 hours the following year.

That’s really helpful thank you x

The funding is for the term after their birthday with cut off dates of the 1st of January, April and September. In the 3 year funding all children get 15 hours. Additional funding is based on hours worked and income with a few exceptions. Details of 2 year criteria have not been finalised

solomon2 · 07/12/2023 13:48

Do 1 year olds get any funding?
