Au pair meal making

We’ve had live in childcare for 10 years now and have never cracked a nanny who was a decent cook. I have tried those Gusto/Hello Fresh packs but they’re so expensive. Other than that it’s one night pizza, one night spag bol and one night some freezer thing I’ve previously done and me cooking after work two nights. Has anyone made recipe cards and a plan for their nanny/au pair or is there a good book with step by steps with simple meals so I can give them more responsibility here? Any ideas appreciated…

Thermomix, fool proof OR paying for cooking lessons.

I would show her how to cook three meals from scratch then she can do these.

Also - baked potatoes with fillings and salad

@namechanger4097 the pinch of nom cookbooks are super easy and varied and tasty. As are Rukmini Iyer’s The Roasting Tin books (literally cook everything in one tin) we have things from both books multiple times a week

Simply cook is great. It's very very simple and it's not like hello fresh or gousto as you need to buy ingredients and they just supply all the seasonings and recipe card. It's a bit wasteful in that you have to check the recipe card but the packaging is a small letterbox size box with 4 meals in it. I really like them because saves buying hundreds of seasonings to cook something different eg. Kofte kebabs. You can also adjust recipe so if you want to eat vegetarian one night you replace the meat with veggies/ chickpeas or whatever. I don't even work for these guys but I have enjoyed coming a couple of recipes per week as it takes some of the burden from meal planning and gives us variety.

Bangers and mash. .. Sausage rolls/beans./chips...Jacket potato - salad - cold meats\cheese\tuna\wotev. Fahitaz(pretty much-also stir fry), all of them can be rattled together and on plate in half hour. (depends how old kids are)they all easy-teas to prep/cook/so get em involved too maybe.
