How much for a nanny?

I'm a nanny, qualified to a high degree with mental health and Montessori training.
I have 20 years experience.
I've been looking for a new job recently and some parents are asking for the world plus looking after pets (which I don't mind. I love animals) for a minimum salary.
I ignore those adverts and move on.
I know not everyone can afford a nanny. Totally understandable.
I've been to interviews where one parent has said that my salary is more than theirs. I get it it's extortionate etc.
This isn't an argument about how much should be paid. Some will offer £80,000, some will offer £30,000 for the same hours.
I'm just curious. How much would you pay if money was no object?

My friends daughter is training to be a Norland nanny. Her starting salary for living out should be £44k and up (depending where). And after a few years around £60k. 50/hours a week live out, 60/week if live in (but get paid a bit less). After ten years it can be six figures depending. NI would be on top of this.
So if money no object then that's the rate.

When you think about everything that is asked from a nanny: just childcare alone I'd expect £50k but if I was expected on top of that do do: pet care including vets, play dates, cleaning, cooking, housekeeping, maybe even home admin, medical appointments... and the list goes on... then I wouldn't do it for less than £80k. To some that may seem extortionate but it's bloody hard work!
