30 hours childcare eligibility and earning threshold

I'm currently employed/on UC and earning just over the £167 per week requirement for the 30 hours childcare starting in September, however sometimes I do earn a bit under this.

I am also about to register as self-employed as a new business. I understand that in this scenario you get 12 months to get your earnings up to the £167, so it wouldn't matter too much if I was under.

My question is what happens if you are both employed and newly self-employed? I plan to carry on working in my job for the time being, so would be both employed and self-employed. Will I have to ensure I earn the minimum £167 or will they take into account my new business as well and therefore allow me to go under the threshold? Obviously I am hoping to be well above with two jobs, but just in case.

Just wondering if anyone is in this position and knows the answer? I can't find anything online and have spoken to a couple of people at Universal Credit who don't know either....

Thanks😀
