Questions to ask childminder

Hi,
I’m going to visit a childminder tomorrow and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of questions I should ask her? Anxious first time mum here and I really want to get this right for my little one!
Thank you in advance.

One thing that helped us choose was seeing the childminder interacting with the children while not knowing we were there. It showed how she interacted with them and was a big comfort that it wasn't 'a show for the parents' or something.

How many children does she take at a time? What age ranges?
Does she work with an assistant or alone?
Food: does she provide it and if so what types of things?
Holidays: how much time does she take off and approximately when?
Activities: does she take the children out to any groups? Eg mine goes to a toddler group once or twice a week and sometimes a library rhymetimes.
What is her settling in policy?
How will she share info/photos with you?
What sorts of things does she do with the children on an average day?
What is her experience? How many years childminding?

Those are the key things that come to mind. Hopefully you'll also get the chance to observe her with your child to see how she approaches getting to know them. Also first time mum here who went through this a year ago and am now very happy with my childminder!

A typical day,
Sleep arrangements
Outings and car
Current children...any feedback from families
Do they feel a good fit with your parenting and attitudes...warm welcoming interest in your child asking you questions that would help settle.
What's their settling in policy ....child's pace or straight on.
What's provided and what you need to provide.
Do they network with other childminders
Training...looking for an interest in the job rather than just the basic 3 year first aid so more extensive courses. ....unless that doesn't bother you.
Her family and experience
How do they manage behaviour.

The ratio of adults to children was critical for me, also how they children interacted and what the teachers were doing. Qualifications of teachers and staff turnover. Most important is the 'vibe'. I visited many and some 'felt' better than others. One place I went to, a couple of the teachers looked miserable, was an immediate no.
