How much do you top up for 30 funded hours?

Hi,

Dd is 3 in October, so will be eligible for the 30 funded hours in January next year. She will be going to preschool 5 days per week 9:15-3pm.

I knew there would be a top up for consumables.

The preschool have just emailed me and the fees work out to around £200 per half term. This does not include nappies, food

We are South East.

Does this sound about right to you?

If you don't mind me asking how much do you have to top up roughly.

TIA

For the south east that sounds pretty good, does that include the extra hours above the 30?

I’m a childminder and get paid £2 less per hour than my usual hourly rate and I’m in the south east

Almost £600 a month 😩my child goes 3.5 days a week

East Midlands Dd pays £10 for the 1 hour that dgs does over the 30 funded hours. This includes the breakfast he has on the two longer (by half hour) days. All food and snacks included in that. Dd used to have to supply nappies and wipes before he was toilet trained.

We are using the primary school preschool, it will be £25 a week. Doesn’t include any consumables but we will just need to send a packed lunch.

We have moved to a new area but if we’d have stayed at our old private preschool it would have been £600 a month excluding consumables.

We're still using a private day nursery, paying about £400 a month for 4 days.

3 days a week, £300 per month.
