id like dd to go to someone that can be as loving to dd as i am.so that the cm can be then next best thing to mummy, and for the cm be able to cuddle my dd to sleep if that what she needs or wants etc

are the workers in the nurserys allowed to cuddle the children, i can just have visions of the workers being told by the bosses "to stop cuddling the children and act professional" although i have no idea where i get these lkind of ideas from ive probably totally made that up

DS gets plenty of cuddles at nursery - well slightly fewer now that he is 3 and he is less inclined for cuddles than before. I think the idea of nursery staff not being allowed to cuddle children is a bit of an urban myth: two parts peedaful-panic and two parts have-a-go-at-WOHMs (your child will be deprived of CUDDLES you heartless bitch).

When DS was 8months old he had to go into nursery as I went back to work and he was always in someones arms when I turned up to pick him up. (I came at different times as well, so I know it wasn't 'ah bobbys mum is coming, quick pick him up )

I work in a nursery, we love giving and receiving cuddles its the best bit of our work.

I visit the baby room during my break for extra cuddles .

I remember my dd's first day at nursery age 9 months which she coped with a lot better than me. I was so annoyed when I picked her up because she smelt of some one else's scent / perfume but then I realised that it meant she had been cuddled in with them!

DS, at nursery, gets lots and lots of cuddles. He is always giving cuddles out as well to the staff, other children and even other parents. It's a big cuddle-fest

My ds loves his cuggles from nursery. I did the same as VS for the first few months and it didn't matter when i turned up he was always in someones arms. He still in now and he's been there for 21 months now
