Mum2Luke sounds like your having a rough time atm. I would detach yourself from the two situations a) the allegations and b) termination of contract. IMO the two are seperate issues, fact is they should pay the 2 wks as per your contract, so continue with trying to get it. They have alleged that your service wasn't good, let them get on with it, document your side of things for when ofsted visit, presuming they have made the complaint official.

As far as I know they've not been to OFSTED, have not had any call off them.

If parents at school have made allegations that I 'verbally abused' the boys then why did they not come to me first or tell me straight instead of going behind my back to the parents? This sounds a bit strange to me really, if there was a childminder doing that to a child, I would probably quietly take them aside and ask why she was saying things but people are not like that these days are they?

I'm still going to fight for my money and if I do not get it, NCMA legal team will be onto them.

I actually feel alot better now I have not got them and my son is happier now too which is alot more important. Thanks for all your advice.

Helen
