Could a CM answer this for me please? Just a simple question

Will CMs take kids from about 7 30/45 AM every morning for the school run?

I will need one next year (Sept start) if I get on my post-grad course and just thinking ahead.

So, do they do such early hours? Will it cost extra?

Thanks for any help

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Yes they will, some may have a minimum charge of say 2-3 hours, others may just charge for the hours used.

i have a little girl in the morning, it will either be 7am drop off or 8am - i just charge the Mum the hours she uses as long as she gives me plenty of notice on her shifts

My DD goes to the CM from 7:45/8am depending on when DP gets her there.
DD gets dropped off at school, or walks with CM's eldest to the school (it's only a street away)
We pay for an hour, she used to have her for half hour, but charges a minimum of an hour.
Costs us £17.50 per week.
She is also there if we ever need DD collecting from school for any reason, including illness as long as it isn't for too long.

our cm does before and after school for £25 per week. We drop off at 8am, and pick up anytime between 4 and 5.30. They usually have another child there when dd arrives, so presumably she starts around 7.30/ 7.45

I start at 7.00 each morning with a schoolie, and charge the hours she does.

dmo · 07/12/2007 14:26

i start at 7.15am til 6.15pm

normally say 3hrs per week min

I work from 7.45-6. My afterschoolies are charged minimum charge of £10 per day anything over 3 hours care is charged hourly. Though to be fair my afterschoolies all get fed and driven to after school activities so if I was much cheaper I would never make any money. Think it varies from cm to cm so ask around

Thanks for all that - sorry I only just replied
