Overnight care, what to charge?

I’ve been asked by a family that I childmind for to stay in their home overnight and provide care for their 18 month old and 6 year old. Can anyone advise me what to charge please? The 6 year old would be in school on one of the days from 9-3:30. The baby usually spends this day in nursery so we will stick to that routine. With me doing overnight the night before, after school that night and staying over to provide 2 full days care after.

So 3 nights, 2 full days and one days wraparound if that makes sense?

Thanks in advance.

I'd probably charge around £300 for that. If its someone I know but not a friend/family situation.

Personally I'd spilt the hours into 2 - awake hours that you will be full on working then I would charge your usual childminding hourly rate. Then a flat rate for the overnight period when you are 'on call' but not working flat out so to speak. So maybe £60—£75 for the overnight bit

Thank you both, that’s really useful.

^this.

If you would usually care for them say 7:30-5:30 then I would then charge time and half for 5:30-bedtime. Then a flat rate over night.
