Have you looked at Ofsted information booklet preparing for your registration visit?

It’s been a while since my pre reg, but I do remember them checking you had the safety locks etc on bins, checked my garden was safe, read through my risk assessments, but it was very relaxed and just like a chat. Questions around safe guarding knowing the signs of abuse, prevent duty, peer to peer, internet safety, etc probably good idea to know about covid symptoms and what you would do if child developed symptoms etc

Mine also checked my smoke alarms, just remembered that has my downstairs one broke that morning would not stop beeping so used upstairs one, she must have made a note because on my 1st inspection they checked I did have two.

Good luck xx

@Apple40 thank you so much that puts my mind at easy knowing it's relaxing there's nothing worse then that anxious feeling in your tummy. Have a lovely evening 😊xx
