Have either of you got a booster I can borrow? I may be taking an 8 year old for half term and will have to use the car or I'll go insane!

Hi Strawberry, do you need it every day??? I would need one for Thursday and Friday of half term.

Let me know if any good?

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 13/10/2007 11:36

I've got a bottom booster type spare but not the sort with a back. If this is any good, you're welcome to it over half term, as long as I get it back as it's almost brand new

Should have said, if it's any good, FB me as I'm more likely to see that quicker

Thanks both of you! Saz yes I'd need it Friday as dh is home with ds so I can take all three boys to farm or something. Thanks for the offer.

Looney - I would think a bottom booster would be fine for an 8 year old? He'd have to go in the front seat if I took all 4 out somewhere. I'm seeing the mum this afternoon so I'll let you know if I take him on and I'll come and collect it next weekend or whenever suits you.

I might look into getting one myself as they are obviously cheaper than the high-backs but it seems silly for just a week.

THANK-YOU!!!! Promise lots of lovely cake for you when you come over.

No probs. I used it for my 8 yr old mindee a couple of years ago but only had her for short time as I need to start doing school run in opposite direction. That mindee was used to not having a booster at all but I said she'd at least have to have one of these! It's got one things that you attach to the seatbelt to make the seatbelt (the bit that goes across your body) sit lower so more comfy for the child.

Just let me know, I've not used it for 2 years and doubt I'll suddenly need it this half term

If it's of any help, I have a quite old now but still perfectly usable booster seat (booster cushion thing, no back). Suitable for children weighing 15 - 36kg - so from around age 6+ I think.
It's been in my loft the last couple of years, so free to a good home - collection from Lightwater (very close to M3 Junction 3).
