I would like to ask your opinion on whether it is a good idea to swap jobs as a nanny in the current climate, covid, lockdown etc.
There’s nothing wrong with the family I work for but I have to switch during the summer for personal reasons. Is it more complicated now to go around and sign up with agencies and go on interviews? I also have to go on a First Aid course. Are there families who are willing to employ a new nanny amidst this virus? What’s your experience about this? I am in London where there are always plenty of jobs around but I don’t know how the market has been affected by Coved
I am clueless, help me out please..

In my area there are LOADS of people looking. I'd say a phone call would be great first followed by maybe a meet in the park for the interview. Yes you can start with a new family. Covid is around and will be for a while, you have to be able to look for work!

There are always going to be nanny jobs

Whether parents going back after a baby

Nannies who leave a job

Parents switching from cm or nursery etc

Yes interviewing by FaceTime is unusual and puts some people off

But now can meet and sd interview is easier

Can Take a while to find right job so start looking now
