How much do you pay a teenage babysitter?

I know the minimum wage for under-18s is £3.70/hour.
What do you think a 15-year-old babysitter should be paid, and what part of the country are you in please?
Dd aged 15 has a lot of expensive 'wants' and needs to start paying her own way if she's going to get them.
(She's brilliant and very patient with small children btw, and trained in first aid)

I pay my 14 year old babysitter £5 per hour I am in Essex and I have 2 children 4 and 8. Thats more than I get paid for childminding!! But I think it s worth it as she is very good.

I offer 5 an hour to a steady 17 year old boy, but they provide own transport.

£5 an hour, but rounded up for part hours

£4 an hour for the 14 y.o. next door (but she never has to do anything!)

£10 - bargain for me from the sounds of it. It's my niece and she sleeps over so we don't have to get her home late at night.

I used to pay £5 an hour ten years ago and now pay the same girl between £6 and £10 depending on how drunk I am when I get home!

I pay £5 p/h for our 16 yr old. She lives directly opposite and only babysits when her mum is at home! She arrives in time to say godnight to the children, I put them to bed and then she is left undisturbed to study or watch TV. If the children woke up I would pay her more and I wouldn't allow her to babysit when they are awake. I think that is too big an ask for a teenager (they are 2 and 4)

Thanks for all of this.
She'll only babysit when me or dh are at home anyway - we'll need to be there to look after dd2.
She's going to print up some flyers and take them to the local primary school to distribute tomorrow (her school doesn't go back just yet).
