Possibly becoming a nanny

Currently messaging a lady about a possible nanny job to care for two children. I've asked her if she'd consider allowing me to bring my daughter along two out of five days citing childcare issues (partly true, I also don't fancy being away from my daughter ten hours a day five days a week caring for other children whilst she's still so small).
I've researched the average wage for my area which is £17,803pa. Not quite sure of what that averages out to, but I've offered to take a lower wage to accommodate bringing my daughter along twice a week. Judging by the average wage in my area what would you offer?
I have 3 years experience, level 2 qualified in childcare, valid first aid training until next year, and I've just been dbs checked which came back clear.

You might get a better response by posting in the 'Nannies' section.

I didn't realise there was a nannies section thank you!

I've researched the average wage for my area which is £17,803pa.
How have you established that? It seems a very precise number. Is it based on working a 60 hour week, a 50 hour week, a 40 hour week?

Generally salaries range from NMW to £15 gross per hour, sometimes a bit more in London. So your £17,803 might be realistic or it might not, impossible for me to know.

I've offered to take a lower wage to accommodate bringing my daughter along twice a week.
I feel that is reasonable to do as it is no longer 1:1 care... though I know when this comes up in Facebook Groups like Nanny Chat that not all nannies agree. If it works for you then fine, just make sure the wage does not drop below National Minimum Wage.

Judging by the average wage in my area what would you offer?
We don't know the area or how many hours per week it is, so impossible to even start researching that. Generally I would say it may average out at £9 per hour, so a 50 hour week that is £23,400 gross per year. A lot different to your £17,803. So I think more detail is needed... in particular the working hours.

OP - which area do you live in?

I can definitely give you advise on all of this.

I am a nanny with over 15 years experience and a mum to a 3 year old who previously came to work with me.

Have you nannied before? Or worked on other childcare settings?
