How much should I pay?

We found a new Au-Pair for our kids, we have a 6 years old, 11 months twins and a baby due to the end of december.
The oldest boy will go to Kindergarden, so in the morning the Au-Pair would help with the twins and after 3p.m. with all kids. She has experience with new born and I would like her to help a bit more when the baby arrives with all four kids. I know it seems a lot but I will be around helping her and I have a person who comes to clean and help a bit three times a week.
We set €260 (we live in Germany) per month for the beginning but I really don't know how much to offer her after the baby arrives.

In the UK the going rate for London is £100 per week for 25 hours and two kids. Higher rates are needed to attract au pairs outside London.

Have you had a look on local au pair Facebook groups to see what other families in your area offer? For four kids you would need to offer a bit more I guess.

Hours are limited, they wouldn't help all day and then all afternoon- believe it's no more than 25hours- so I'd doing before school for all kids, during school for some and after for all, then you've used up all the hours in theee days.

You realise you’ve hired an au pair and not a nanny right?

My understanding is that au pairing is more regulated in Germany than in the UK and you have a specific au pair Visa which sets out the conditions. I think salary is set at E260/month, however, I also think that working hours should not be more than 6 hours a day/30 hours a week, plus babysitting. So if she's helping you between 3-7pm, she can only work for a couple of hours in the morning.

I also think you need to set aside time for compulsory language lessons and pay towards these.

My German isn't great, but that's what I could understand from the info available online.
