How are you getting organised with au pairs who will be in the UK pre and post Brexit (particularly health insurance)?

Hi we've (finally) found our next au pair who will start in September. In the past I have told them to ensure they have an EHIC card however with Brexit who knows what the situation will be after 31 October. What are you saying to your au pair about Brexit and any paperwork? I am thinking of giving ours the heads up that she may need to get some sort of health insurance after 31 October.
Any views on getting organised in advance so that they and we don't have any nasty surprises (in relation to health or anything else I haven't thought of)?

She doesn’t need it. Unless she’s staying for a relatively short period of time (under 3 months) she’s considered ‘ordinarily resident’ in the UK and is therefore entitled to NHS health care.
Non-EU au pairs such as Canadians pay a health surcharge to account for this, so it’s likely that if they start to offer au pair visas to EU people post-brexit, they’ll need to pay a similar charge.
