Hello,
I recently applied for a new job as a nanny and charge 12hr net. I got hired but they want to pay £700 a month through bank. And the rest in cash. Is this normal? Is there something dodgy? If I agree to this will I get in trouble? I'm very confused m

Not normal or above,board!

They, avoiding paying tax and NÍ and pension contributions

Sounds weird. The payslip must show all your income from the job. The method of payment can vary so they could do some via bank transfer and some via something else but having lots of it as cash could be a money laundering issue - where did the cash come from?

Very odd - they are trying to avoid paying your taxes, pensions etc which is a legal requirement if it's your sole or main job
