FT nannies in London - what would you

Like for your birthday?

And if cash, what do you think is going the rate? Our nanny is still paid for FT (60 hours) even through all children are at school now. She had cash for Xmas - not 100% of salary as that would be a stretch for us as she's on a high salary for the hours now worked and she's very happy with the overall deal. For further context, she's close to retirement.

That's it really.

Many thanks.

I always loved something from the children, something they've made or picked out.

Thank you. That's really nice to know. I'd prefer to do this too. That's the plan sorted then

Yes I agree something the kids have made and a nice card with a nice message makes me very happy.
Or something thoughtful relating to my hobbies/interests is always nice.

Something from the kids and a posh bath oil

My boss always buys me a lovely bunch of flowers which I really appreciate, a cake so I can celebrate with the kids at teatime and some vouchers (£50 from go outdoors this year).

Thanks everyone. DP made her a lovely cake on her actual birthday (it was last week but I've been away for work) as I agree that it's really nice to have a tea party with the children and they all enjoyed that. I've got some really nice ideas here. Thank you!
