Employer Mat leave

Wondering how people cover their Nannies when the employer is on mat leave.
Affordability means that we will struggle to afford to maintain the nanny but we absolutely can not afford to lose her. She is amazing.
What do people do?
Nanny shares?
Thanks

Nanny share will only work if the family you're wanting to set up with are happy to pay nanny full wage while you don't need her.

Options are, nanny tries to find a temp job to fit in (tricky)

Nanny moves on.

You keep nanny on same hours and she helps with new baby too.

You could see if she will do reduced hours while you're off (this would suit me as I am wanting to study a bit more)

Sadly in my previous roles, parents have let me go. They are then stuck 9 months later when they need childcare for the next baby. But at that time I've got a new family (or families, nanny share) and I'd never leave a family like that as I've built up a good reputation and wouldn't ditch a new family unless it was a pre arranged agreement.

All the families who've got rid of me have regretted it massively. We got along very very well and most ended up turning to nursery as they didn't gel with anyone the same way.

Thanks for the reply. There's no way we want to lose her she is amazing.
I was wondering seeing if her going to someone else for 2/3 days a week would work?
