Eligible for 30 hours free, but pre-school only takes 15

Could anyone please give advice on how else we can spend the extra free 15 hours? Our child goes to pre-school 8am-3pm and this pre-school only accepts 15 hours of free education. I tried to find a childminder who would do pick ups from school, but there is no one who would be up for this job. We found a nanny (ofsted registered) who will be doing pick ups for us. Can I use the additional 15 hours to pay her? Thanks

No you cannot use the remaining 15 hours of funding with a nanny.

As above, you can use the hours with a childminder (depending on their terms) but not with a nanny.

The thirty free hours is underfunded, hence why childcare providers have to attach so many limitations to what they can offer.
