Help with childcare costs

Hello ladies,
I am looking to going back to work however nurseries in my area are extremely expensive and childminders are not available on days I need.
Is there any kind of help with childcare cost for children under 2?
We will be eligible for 15 hours free but I don't want to wait until they turn 2.
Unfortunately my husband's employer doesn't offer childcare vouchers.
Thank you

Have a look at tax free childcare. The government pays £2 for every £8 you do up to £2000 a year.

If you Google childcare choices you should find it.

If you're getting free hours when dc is 2 does that mean you're on a low Income? If that's the case might be worth looking at tax credits instead. The childcare choices website tends to point you in the direction of what works out best for you x

2 options childcare element of tax credits or the new scheme where the government pay £2 and you pay £8 for every £10
