go to their website and see how you register first of all, or ask the parent to get this info for you. I would have thought the parent should be giving you the information and making it easy for you to get registered!

it's all done online - I pay my childminder this way and it's great, no more cheques or worrying oabut it - it's direct debit each week, or each day or however you want to set it up.

you register with BB, then give the parent your reg number and they can order them.

we still use the paper voucher, i get them around the 20th of the month and hand to cm around the 26th so there's time to clear. cm phones through the codes on an automated system and awaits payment to account - all very long winded, but my employer won't use the direct debit approach.

will say that I've paid late twice in 15mths due to "admin probs" at BB. thankfully cm was ok and didn't wack on late payment charges.

Many childminders will take vouchers, there are several different schemes, and they are a financial plus for the parents. I don't think that there are any real reasons not to take them.

2 of my mindees use the vouchers. The parents started the process, I got a letter asking for a few details then the parents filled in another form and it was done! I've been paid this way for about a year and have never had a problem (hmm, maybe I shouldn't tempt fate!!). I even get a text from the voucher people to say the money has been transferred to my account.

Both mindees are 3 days a week and the "voucher money" covers roughly half their fees.

One of my parents pays by Busy Bees vouchers. I just registered online, gave parent my bb reg number and they do it all online, then at the end of each month I get an email telling me the money will be in my account in 3 days, it is very simple (and easier than taking cheques down to the bank).

I think I"d be looing for a different childminder if they wouldn't take the vouchers, it is a great help financially for us

I also take 'busy bees' vouchers. I had to register, but once that is done it is easy and simple.

I give parent invoice - parent gives me voucher - I ring up telephone number on voucher and give security number - Money appears in my bank about 2 days later .

also it is a good 'selling' point and you get some promotional stuff saying 'i accept busy bees' when you register.

hth!

Hiya, well i spoke to dad and said for him to ifnd out which voucehrs his company offer and which would be better financially for him, get the forms from his boss and pass them onto me. I am hapy for them to put the money into my account, even if i have to make a phone call, put i dont want paying my cheque as i have probs getting to bank..think it was busy bees and adco or something similar???
