I will need childcare for 3 children after school 3 days a week (2 mine, 1 best friend) and am wondering what possibilities there are?
Would rather they came back to our house.. but don't need a full time nanny, however would if possible like to pay in vouchers.

You could use a childminder ( I take children back to their own house like I am doing tonight!) Or maybe a part time nanny, or even just a mothers help if the children are older.

Most people will accept vouchers now as they are much easier than cash / cheques.

Good luch - where are you as maybe someone here maybe able to help you!

Hi!

There are lots of options available to you.

You could use an after school club, although these do get very busy and waiting lists can be long.

A part time nanny share is a great option. advertise in your local paper for a qualified part time nanny share,or pop a notice on the school notice board. you can also register with 'simply childcare' - a free and great site and paper that lists nannies available and gives you the option of advertising yourself. (you will only be paying part time, and then will have someone for the holidays too!)

Childminders are great too and offer a homely environment which is great for children who need to do homework.

Hi we are based in Harborne, Birmingham - have used after school club, but don't know if we will get a space and I won't finish work in time anyway one night a week.

Thanks for the websites -and the idea that CM might take back to the child's house.
