Working Bank Holiday

Hey mums!

London local looking for advise on the following:

Live-in nanny earning £400 per week, 730am to 7pm Monday to Friday here.

My family is going on holiday from March 30th (Good Friday) and will be gone until the following Friday, including Easter Monday. During this time I'm keeping their 9 month old 24/7 at another house outside of London. This will obviously include nights, but the baby sleeps through apart from a 1030pm feeding.

How much compensation is fair during that time? I'm unsure about what the rates for a live-in Nanny are for nights and bank holidays. Can I ask for 2 additional vacation days or is it compensated at a higher rate?

I don't want to ask for too much, but don't want to agree to a too low rate either.

Thanks for your help!

Maybe post in the nanny section...

I would post in the nanny section but sleep or no sleep you are on duty responsible and unable to do your own things so I would want a lot of compensation. £400 a week for a 55 to 60 hour week doesn't sound much to me.
